  • To achieve the perfect fit, brides are advised to bring their undergarments and wedding shoes to the fitting appointment. If the shoes haven’t been purchased yet, it’s essential to inform the Bridal Seamstress to avoid premature hemming adjustments.

  • The entire process will be completed in two to three fittings depending on the alterations required and how much your body has changed during this period. The first fitting can last up to one hour and subsequent fittings are usually up to 30 minutes.

  • The duration really depends on the complexity of the alterations required. Our goal is to ensure high-quality craftsmanship while completing alterations within a reasonable timeframe. It’s advisable to visit with your wedding dress as soon as you have it, even if your wedding is months away. This early visit allows us ample time for alterations, ensuring a perfect fit for your special day.

  • The cost depends on the work required. The dressmaker will confirm the cost at your initial appointment. If you agree, you'll sign a form to confirm the cost and required alterations.

    Our service includes up to three fittings. Note that there is a non-refundable initial fitting fee of £35 (per dress).
